This time of year has such a unique feel. It is frozen outside yet there is a faint hope of spring stirring. Birds have started to return and the smallest of buds have started to show. The word snowbirds kept creeping into my head and though I searched I could not find just the right thing to create with so I made it myself.
Starting with a bit of cold porcelain (you can find lots of recipes through a google search). I first formed a ball.
Then Shaped a head, tail and beak.
Then made a hole in the center, let it dry...

Love your gorgeous tablescape. The soft colors are just wonderful and the lace tablecloth is stunning. Your napkin rings are wonder and so are the roses. What a fabulous idea. Love all the serving pieces. Just so lovely. Hugs, Marty
Well, I lost my comment..but..what I wanted to say was that your napkin rings made from cold porceline are lovely as are the roses. I think candles are my favorite thing on any table and the way you have yours place on a little raised platform is nice. So cozy!
I am playing catch up today.. :)
