Valentines Decoration

Below are a couple of apothecary jars I have put together in my home to decorate for Valentines day.

This is a cake a topper from one of our anniversary cakes. Placed in an apothecary jar with some lace to create a nice display.

Some of the fun bits from a potpourri bag to fill these jars and a ribbon to match, grouped with some fun items on our piano top.

And on a stand in the hall I placed this jar with a glass rose (from the dollar store) and fabric rose petals. I also used this one in a tablescape that can be seen here.

After I created this one I realised that I was recreating the enchanted rose from 'Beauty and the Beast'.
(Guess who watches too many Disney movies with her children!)

Your display is beautiful! I really love the idea of using something that means so much to you in vignettes.

I am really swooning over your divine lamp too...it is gorgeous!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

Your photo's are so pretty, I love the little glass rose. I had a pink one like that but it broke in an earthquake:(

That's funny! Beauty and the Beast was the first thing I thought of when I saw the glass rose. Yet it's still sweet and pretty.
