One wonderful thing I am seeing in blogland is something called bluehour. This is the best "blue time" to take photos in. This is a photo of the blue hour as I see it each evening in my living room. To see more about blue hour visit www.bluehoursite.com.

Good idea to start planning end of year teacher gifts. Any ideas? I am never very good at making them personal!!
The best suggestion I have is to ask your kiddo. Kids spend hours each day with their teacher and generally have a good feel for what their teacher will like.
Also, look on the teachers desk for clues. We had a teacher who loved frogs and I happened to find a frog teapot that was lovely.
And my favorite thing to buy is willow tree figurines, they are sold in Hallmark stores, cost $5 and $20 (with most somewhere in the middle) and, I always seem to find one that reminds me of the teacher.

This article on the blue hour is cool. Some of those pictures are absolutely incredible. I'm not much of a photographer, but I've been noticing how pretty things are at that time of night. Thanks for letting us know about it.
