July's Shopping Bag

Note: every month I feature a few ideas of things to buy for the month. Such as fruit that is in season, helpful things for holidays, and deals to look for. These are meant to be helpful suggestions only. Every budget is different and buying something that is not within your budget only adds to stress, no matter what it is. These suggestions are help save time and money, while adding to enjoyment of the season.

July's Shopping Bag

After 4th of July Sales
Just like any holiday, the holiday decor is discounted just after the 4th. July 5th is the best time to go for selection and after July 9th is the best time to find the deep discounts.


Tomatoes, Raspberries, Logan Berries, Watermelon, and Corn are all ripe in July.


And a lot of fruits and vegetables have a June-July-August window such as Apricots, Peas, Peaches, Cantaloupe, Figs, Nectarines, Plums, and Beets.

Back to School Deals.

We do not go back till September, but many schools in the U.S. start again in August. So, this may be the month to find the best discounts on paper, pens, and other office supplies. As well as lunch items such as capri suns, boxed snacks, and lunch sacks. If your stores have started back to school sales, now is the best time for selection on Children's clothing and you can find some good sales. However, after school starts often the unsold clothing goes on sale and I think that is the best time to 'fill the gaps' in the wardrobe.

Gym memberships start to offer incentives - and I think we all know why.
