An adorable birthday activity idea is to make these lovely fairy gardens. A friend of mine posted this photo on face book and (with her permission) I had to share it.
They used a plastic plant container base decorated with ribbon on the edge and filled with moss. Then added flowers, pine cones, twigs, rocks, glass stones, beads and other trinkets. It was then topped of with pink glitter (aka: fairy dust) and a handmade fairy they made earlier in the party.
Such fun for a fairy birthday theme!
