September 16th is Collect Rocks Day
Today is collect rocks day. From what I could find online it is an unofficial holiday, but it has been around for some time. It is celebrated by rock collectors young and old as a day to add to their collections. A walk down by the water? A visit to a rock shop? How will you celebrate this holiday?

With my girls I think everyday is Collect Rocks Day.
My oldest brings home new ones all the time because of their shapes or colors.
I will have to tell her it's a "holiday" for her!
