This week is a particularly busy one around my home. With piano, football, school functions, scout popcorn, we have been running from place to place so I set out flowers and we have been improvising tablescapes around them.
Dahlias for our 1940's table (which matches our 1940's style home).
On a shelf in our living room I put together this simple little vignette.
The little jar is full of pretty little bits of potpourri.
And I came across white acorn squash. I am not one to spend much money on decor, so I love when I can find fun seasonal things that can be used as well as enjoyed. Squash makes such wonderful meals in the fall. One of our favorite recipes can be found here:
