Happy Yorkshire Pudding Day!
10.13.2010
October 13th is Yorkshire Pudding Day
Today in America is National Yorkshire Pudding Day. While this looks to be an unofficial holiday in it has been celebrated here for years. What is Yorkshire Pudding? It is a like a pancake, treated as a dinner roll and a bit lighter like a soufflé. It is traditionally served with roast beef and gravy. Want to see more about them? This link to Wikipedia has a few fun facts about the history. Need a recipe? I found two that looked interesting at the Food Network and on Martha Stewarts site.
