If you did then you wouldn't be a grouch. Well then maybe that is the point of having this holiday. Maybe the point is to recognize that grouchiness is sometimes just how we are no mater what we try and to relax a bit roll with it. Or, maybe it is to smile at our grouchy friends and relatives (we all have at least one right?) and let them know they are loved.

Funny enough this unofficial holiday appears to be tied to Oscar the Grouch. And while this holiday has been around for a few years the only reference I found about its origin came from THIS site where they state it was listed in Sesame Street Magazine.
