I found this great video by home depot with lots of great tips on hanging outdoor Christmas lights to share with you. I loved their idea about using a lighting pole instead of a ladder. And their tip on using led lights near the end of the video.

I have been reading through your blog this morning, and you really are amazing! What a service you are giving to others by showing, reminding and teaching us to become more organized in order to enjoy the holidays more. I really appreciate it and I know that others do too. I just joined your FB page.
I really only decorate for Christmas these days, since all my kids are grown. I used to do it all though, especially when I had my daycare. I believe that it is very important to pass on the tradition of holiday celebrations.
