Keep Thanksgiving and Christmas from sneaking up on you! {From my Calendar}

Thanksgiving is all about the table in my home. The table cloth, plates, candles, the handmade place mats that were a gift from my mother. I begin to dress up my table now reserving a few things for the holiday itself. If you are hosting Thanksgiving you will want to check that you have enough dishes, platters, pans, pie plates, glasses, napkins and the like. (See some tips for hosting the meal here).

This weekend on my Holiday Challenge:
  • Go through Thanksgiving decorations and supplies.
  • Look though my Christmas boxes.
  • Set aside Christmas cards that I bought at after Christmas sales last year.
  • Put Christmas lights somewhere where they can be retrieved easily for testing next weekend.
  • And clear a spot on a bookshelf for Christmas books, music, and movies. (These help set the Christmas tone once Thanksgiving is over.)
