First I set the table with all the trappings, candles, silverware, harvest plates, leaf placemats, table cloth, and glasses with a leaf pattern.
Then I took a standard size cloth napkin, folded it in half to make a rectangle.
Folded it width-wise accordion style.
And pressed it so that the creases would look sharp.
Then I took regular cardboard from a box, cut a peanut shape, pealed back the paper on one side so the corrugation showed, added eyes with a sharpie, a yellow beak and ribbon to form a Turkey body. I then hot glued the turkey to a napkin ring.
To make the tail, I placed the napkin in the ring like so:
Flared out the bottom, stood it up and spread the top some.
Happy holidays!

What a cute idea! The kids could help with this and it would really be fun:@)
How cute! I really need to get into the holidays like this but by the time I'm ready, they've already past!
Thanks! I was thinking I would use these on the kids table for Thanksgiving! But then, I had some company this last weekend and the adults were loving them too.
They are so cute. Great setting.
Oh how cute! My grands would love these!
Oh those are adorable.. What a great addition they will make to the children's table. Your table is really stunning.
I couldn't wait to click this thumnail and find out how to make a turkey napkin. This is so cute!!! I don't have a single child around the home, but I'm tempted to do it anyway since I'm such a big kid at heart myself.
Adorable! Thanks for the tutorial!
Too Cute! I love the step by step!
Love the turkey fold.
