December's Shopping Bag

Holiday foods such as: Figs, chestnuts, pomegranates, tangerines, egg nog, fruit cakes, mixed nuts,  Irish cream, and cloves

Red and green bell peppers - the two of  these, red and green together, chopped small can be added to just about any dinner to give it a "Christmas" look.

Extra baking supplies (flour, spices, eggs, sugar, baking powder/soda, etc)

Champagne, Wine and the like is often found cheaper this time of year making it a great time to stock up for new years, valentines day, Easter, anniversaries, or any other special event through the year. Also, you can find Christmas special brews and other christmas themed liqueurs.

Kitchen items you noticed were needed while preparing Thanksgiving meal.

Thanksgiving clearance items.

Anything needed for New Years Eve.

Tools, computers, and other needed household items commonly given as gifts are often on sale in December.
