My friend, I just loved this post! So glad that you shared it with us for the Sunday Favorites repost party this week...you have some great tips and terrific ideas! My favorite...Kidnapping your spouse for a Valentine vacation surprise! Of course, I had to follow your link to that post! Hehe! I was wondering how you pulled that one off...successfully! It looks like sooo much fun...and I would definitely be up for that one! By the way...your honey was such a great sport to let you photograph him...blindfold and all! Hehe! That is just too cute!!! I also really enjoyed your tutorial on the heart cake. I sooo agree with you about these magazines showing photos of some really fabulous cakes...giving the idea that just any of us could bake and decorate such a thing! Your recipe sounds sooo good and it the finished cake...cherries and all...looks heavenly! I think I'm going to give this pretty cake a try...we'll see! Hehe!
