Spring in the Country Tablescape

Earth tones and whimsy are used to create this spring tablescape that hints at the holiday to come.
Hand made birds nests on glass dishes.
Lemon water in the goblets.

Ivy in an apothecary jar with a candle centerpiece.

A bunny placed where our littlest one can see him.

Salad plate, dinner plate and charger.

And once the candles are lit and everyone is called to the table...

The nests and glass plates are tucked into the ivy and the napkins are placed on the plates.

Spring in the country was the theme I was looking for in this tablescape.
Now every field is clothed with grass, and every tree with leaves; now the woods put forth their blossoms, and the year assumes its gay attire. ~Virgil
And Spring arose on the garden fair, Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.
~Percy Bysshe Shelley
If you would like to see how I made these birds nests you can find my tutorial {here}.

Jessa, I just adore everything about this table. It is SO cute, and I like the naturalness of it. Love how you have the bird nest with the eggs on there, the layering of the dishes, and how the ivy looks to be spilling across the table. It's just all perfection. You really did a great job with this.

XO,

Sheila :-)

What a lovely, welcoming table. I would be thrilled to be invited to be a guest here! And the nests are the perfect complement to the natural feeling of this table.

I just realized that I have the same plates as your salad plates. I have never used them! This inspires me to get them out (if I can find them) and put them to use.

Your tablescape is like a long walk into the woods, soaking up Mother Nature's wonders! I can almost smell the scent of the trees, moss, and evergreens. It is so peaceful and does symbolize a new beginning which spring is all about. Great tablescape!
